She has ample knowledge experience practicing all subspecialties of Labor and Employment Law, such as individual and collective employment matters, social security and immigration. Sofia focuses her practice on employment consultancy advising international and domestic clients in managing their relationships with their employees or unions. Likewise, Sofía participates in labor due diligences related to M&A transactions. She designs and implements defense strategies in individual and collective employment actions, as well as in calls for strike procedures or stoppages, including conducting negotiations with the union, terminating the collective bargaining agreement, and preventing of unfair labor practices. Sofia also provides advice in the structuring of saving funds and private retirement plans, and equity or any other incentives plans, and in implementing preventive strategies for the productive development of employment relationships.
