Patricio focuses his practice on Antitrust and Competition matters, including the representation of companies in pre-merger filings with the Federal Economic Competition Commission, as well as in providing advice in this area. Patricio has extensive experience in advising national and foreign clients in corporate transactions and in real estate projects. He obtained his Law Degree with Honors from Universidad Iberoamericana in 2005, and an LL.M. Degree with Merit from King’s College London in 2010. He worked as a Foreign Associate at Shearman & Sterling, New York, during 2011 and 2012.

Alfonso specializes in Corporate Law, including Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity, as well as in Financial Law. Alfonso’s professional practice has been centered in providing advice to Mexican and foreign groups, including corporate governance structures, joint ventures, investment and contracting models, both private and public, corporate reorganizations and in a variety of M&A transactions. He also focuses his practice in financial transactions, including corporate financings and syndicated loans, and capital and debt markets deals. He obtained his Law Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2003 and an LL.M. Degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005.

Javier specializes in Financial Law and Private Equity transactions. He actively represents domestic and foreign companies in a wide array of deals, including the formation of private equity funds and the execution of their investments, the establishment and maintenance of entities supervised by the Mexican National Banking and Securities Commission, diverse cross-border financings, as well as capital markets transactions. He obtained his Law Degree (summa cum laude) from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2005, an LL.M. Degree in Corporations Law from the New York University School of Law in 2009, and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Law and Business (Vogelstein Scholarship) from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2009. Javier worked as a foreign associate at the New York office of Davis Polk & Wardwell during 2009 and 2010. He is authorized to practice in Mexico and New York.
